More than 1,500 athletes from 13 countries and regions, including China, Malaysia, South Korea, Russia, Indonesia, Thailand, Canada, the United States, Pakistan, and India, took part in the event, setting a new participation record for the Lin Dan Cup.

The tournament offered a total prize pool of RMB 836,000, including RMB 200,000 for the men's singles champion.

Over three days of competition, the event brought together a strong field of players, including Zhao Junpeng, Zhan Junwei, Zhou Zeqi, Lei Lanxi, and Wang Zhengxing.

In the men's singles final, Zhou Zeqi came from behind to defeat Yang Qiming 2–1, claiming his third Lin Dan Cup men's singles title. In the mixed team final, Shenmu Yuyue defeated Kawasaki Chocolate 88D in straight matches, winning the championship.

Olympic badminton champion Lin Dan attended the closing ceremony, presented awards to the winners, and interacted with fans, bringing the tournament to a memorable conclusion.

2. Professional Sports Lighting Keeps Every Shot Clearly Visible

Badminton is one of the fastest racket sports in the world. Its high-speed rallies and rapid changes in shuttlecock direction place demanding requirements on court lighting, particularly horizontal and vertical illuminance, lighting uniformity, and glare control.

As an official strategic partner of the 2026 Lin Dan Cup, SCL Sports Lighting developed a professional LED sports lighting solution tailored to the main competition court in Jinan.

The solution focused on three key performance characteristics: high lighting uniformity, flicker-free operation, and effective glare control. These features help maintain consistent illumination across the court, from the baseline to the net, supporting clear visibility of the shuttlecock throughout fast-paced rallies.

Stable, well-designed sports lighting is essential not only for athletes' performance but also for spectators' viewing experience and the demands of sports broadcasting.

From Jincheng to Jinan, SCL Sports Lighting has supported the Lin Dan Cup as an official strategic partner for the second consecutive year.

At the Jinan event, the company helped ensure the stable operation of the main court's lighting system, providing reliable illumination throughout the competition. The lighting supported high-intensity matches and broadcasting requirements while illuminating key moments, from Zhou Zeqi's championship victory to Lin Dan's award presentation.

During the tournament, the main court lighting system operated reliably and met the event's operational requirements, earning recognition from the organizing committee and participating athletes.

The venue hosted complementary activities, including cultural and sports markets, brand showcases, and themed merchandise displays. Coinciding with China's National Day holiday, the tournament attracted visitors who combined watching badminton matches with exploring Jinan's famous springs and cultural attractions.

By bringing together sporting events and local tourism, the Lin Dan Cup helped stimulate sports-related consumption, increase the city's tourism appeal, and contribute to Jinan's broader fitness and urban branding initiatives.
